Paleo Challenge - Starting Info

Last week I blogged about finding my mojo. I've joined a Crossfit box where the workouts are challenging and the people are amazing. We are currently 1 week into a 6 week Paleo Challenge. Yes, six weeks of no grains, legumes, dairy (ICE CREAM!), add sugars or sugar substitutes (again, ICE CREAM!) for the ENTIRE SUMMER. What was I thinking?!?!? emoticon

Last Monday we did a baseline workout and took starting pictures after the workout.

The workout: The Filthy 50
--For time: The Rx workout is 50 reps of each exercise then move onto the next - our coach had us do 25 reps of each -- if we completed the first round in 15 min, then we repeated the cycle.
--The moves: 20" Box Jumps, Jumping pull ups, 26# Kettlebell swings, walking lunge steps, toes to bar, 33# push press, back extensions, wall balls to 9 ft target, burpees, and double unders.
--Sound simple.....it wasn't - especially the burpees at the end of it all!

--Results: I got through one round in 20min, 37 sec. I struggled, for sure.

Other information: Body weight at start of challenge (not part of challenge, but part of my goals): 193#
