Wow, I can't believe that it's already the end of this round. This has been a kind of crazy round for me. My husband joined me on CAMO, and a good friend of mine joined the BLC on another team, both for the first time. My husband is working on the basement, which means that we *still* haven't finished unpacking... it feels like we've barely started (though I know we have) because every room is full of boxes we can't deal with until the basement is done. I went to Georgia for 3 weeks (with my above mentioned friend) while the dry wall was being installed in the basement.
I feel like my life has been turned upside down. And yet in the middle of this, I was trying to do a pretty committed and demanding weight loss challenge. It wasn't easy. My workout schedule has been... uneven. I ended up having to be flexible a lot to adapt my workouts both to what my schedule, location, and frankly physical limitations allowed. I didn't get perfect scores on a lot of the challenges but I did get points in every single one of them. And while I didn't meet any of my goals that I set for myself, I'm closer to all of them... and much closer to where I want to be than I would have been without the BLC.
So I'm grateful for joining it. Once again, it has helped me--and with my teammates help (and my teammates on my other teams, though I am focusing on the BLC for now) I stayed on track. Or at least didn't get too far off when I did lose my way. It helped me maintain a moderately active lifestyle, to mostly eat healthy foods (and more fruits and vegetables!!! Which has been a special challenge with everything in chaos).
