My journey has been interesting so far. Sometimes all goes well and sometimes it doesn't. I feel like I'm bouncing around instead of making steady progress but I can see that I am moving forward even if the path has been a little crooked.
I'm in my second week of the 5% Spring challenge and, so far, I'm doing okay. I have discovered that I can fit in more fitness on days that I work simple because I MUST schedule it in. On my days off, I have issues remembering that I need to do more than sit on the couch and watch all the TV I've missed. This is getting easier because I am starting to get really bored when I sit for longer than two hours. I have even started to get up between shows and do some strength exercises. While it's not much, it is something and I find that NSV to be motivating. I think my "just get it done" attitude is starting to stick but I won't take down that saying just yet. I need reminders that I can do it if I just put my mind (and body) to it.
And HAPPY DAY! All the parts necessary for graduate school have finally made it to the school of my choice. The application now goes through the review process and I should hear in a couple of weeks whether I have been accepted or not. I have my fingers crossed for the best.
