I have been flying low lately because of just not feeling great. I had a BP med change and I have had some side effects. I have had water retention in my feet, constipation, migraines, and just not feeling good. I am trying some water retention methods that are natural instead of the water pill as recommended by me doctor for other reasons. I do have one positive and that is my BP is in the normal range now because of the med change.

I hope to go for a light workout at the gym today. I am not pushing myself because my feet have been balloons the last couple of days.

Anyway lets all have a successful weekend.

The edema doesn't sound good. Have you checked in with your doctor? emoticon

Please take care. It's hard to get the calibration of the meds right. Have you called your doctor?

I can give you something to look forward to. When my doctor put me on BP meds years ago, he told me I would be on them for the rest of my life. Fast forward to now, after I've been with Sparkpeople for 2 years, and I've lost a grand total of 50 lbs from my heaviest...

And I am no longer on any BP medicine at all! Don't need it anymore! Now that I'm exercising and the weight is off, my numbers are always in the normal range. Except when I have too much sodium.

So keep working toward your goals. You will get there! And then you probably won't need the BP meds and their side effects anymore, either!

Be well, so glad your numbers are good again. Take a look at your salt counts, you'd be amazed at the numbers. emoticon
