Operation "Fit in This Dress!

Wednesday, May 27, 2015

I have been a big lazy bum these last few months. I had gotten down to 200 and just stopped caring. I'm not even sure how it happened but some how I lost my motivation. Well this ends today. I tried on a bunch of my summer clothes and only a few pieces fit. That is not acceptable and I refuse to buy bigger sizes. I also went to Kohls and tried on a few dresses. Anything with a zipper didn't fit... not matter how hard I tried. After feeling worthless, I just looked in the mirror and said NO! I am going to buy one of these and prove to myself that I can do it! My favorite (and the only 1 left in the store and sold out online) was a Lauren Conrad Cinderella line dress. It is sooo adorable and I have a wedding to go to in Sept that it will be perfect for. It zippered about half way. So "Operation Fit in This Dress" started yesterday!

Yesterday, was a great day. I brought in a nice homemade salad with grilled chicken and had a light dinner. I also forced myself to get on the elliptical for 30 minutes when I didn't want to. Today so far as been the same, I brought in the same salad with healthy snacks. Even though I plan to work overtime tonight, I will be making myself get on the elliptical again no matter what time it is. I just need to get back into the groove again so this becomes a routine. I would love to be 20 lbs down by the end of the summer and I think that will do the trick with fitting in to the dress.

My plan:

-Less than 1500 calories daily
-More fresh natural foods instead of processed
-Cook more at home
-Exercise daily, even just a 15 minute walk outside
-Lots of water!

Happy Summer Spark Friends!

I know exactly what you mean! I did some Memorial Day shopping and it ended up being a little more depressing than fun. I found a skirt that I was in love with, but they only had it a size too small. I bought it anyway as inspiration to get back in the swing of things.

Can't wait to see you rock that dress!
