Prescribed walking

Sunday, November 01, 2015

So I got the divorce papers signed on Thursday. It's up to him to file. I don't think he has the money yet, and once he does it's a 90 day process, but the papers are signed and that's it on my end. That night I got drunk and made brownies. I ate a few and took the rest to work yesterday for my coworkers to finish off for me.

I also had another therapy appointment on Thursday, and my therapist prescribed walking. She says I need to be outside because that's when I enjoy myself most, and she's right. So I picked up a map at the visitor center and have to start knocking out local trails (and we have a lot in town). She literally prescribed outdoor walking for me. I started the next day with a three mile walk down by Zuanich Point Park. It was cloudy, but it was dry and not windy:

Today I started NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month). I wrote for 43 minutes today while pedaling on my FitDesk, so that's something.

Oh, and I have an Etsy shop now, too. Because I just don't know when to stop:

There's not too much up yet, and with NaNoWriMo I'm not sure how much more I'll add to it this month, but as I make things I'll put them for sale there.

So yeah. That's life so far.

wonderful! i love the photo, did you take it? It is really nice. I tried to access your etsy shop, but it wouldn't let me see it yet. I have one too, but no luck so far.

Best of luck to you. Been there as well. I take walk breaks from my desk when it is nice. There is a walking trail right behind my office. I always feel better after a good walk.
