60 Days 'til 60: A Success!

I am so-ooo happy! This past year's Birthday Countdown was a success!

I didn't specify that I had to lose weight... but I did! Whoopee!
The 60 days went from 9/22 until 11/20 (I weighed in 11/21).
From 182.4 to 177.
Lost: 5.4 lbs

All I specified was that I would get 150 cardio minutes per week, plus two strength training sessions!

NOTE: This was taken directly from my Senior Fitness Manual. (They said it should be an expectation for even aged seniors!!!)

I feel that a major part of my success was because it was really nice weather, and an RV neighbor WANTED to walk daily with me. (Thanks Diana Hartzler!) Also, via our retirement insurance, I was able to attend Silver Sneakers classes at the local community center.

Out of the 8 1/2 weeks, there were two weeks I didn't do so great: One week we traveled to Chanute to get our RV carpet changed out, and the other week was when my hip was out & I could barely move.

Anyway, I like blogging about my Birthday Countdowns so I can look back every year to see what I chose to do and how it came out! This one has to be one of the BEST ones! But they 'all' have made me feel much better about myself.
