April Update

Tuesday, April 05, 2016

Finally a long and truly not fun day is O.V.E.R! emoticon This is the latest. I WILL be starting Dialysis by the end of next week via a Perm Cath. Yep, playtime is DONE. Time for more serious stuff. I have always known my time would come. I tied hard to push it off for as long as I could. Superwoman I am not! Doc wanted to start me today but I opted to give myself until I see my main Neph in 1 week. Lab numbers have dropped further in just the last week. Still no symptoms which makes accepting this new reality that much harder. Kidney function is at 5% now. emoticon Fistula Surgery will still happen at a later date once my arm has had time to heal. Meanwhile I will have a new fashion item for show & tell. LOL I was actually okay with all this until they told me they would have to insert the cath in my neck. Sounds painful and everyone knows me and needles. emoticon Anyway here's to my last week as a free woman!

It's ben over 3 weeks since my daughter has spoken to me. She got upset because I told her 2 cousins she is pregnant. I think it's overkill since she had already told most everyone else except for our side of the family. Anyway they (the cousins) were thrilled to her the news but DD thought I was being a Rabid B*$@% for telling them. Nothing ever changes with her except that I am now mentally, emotionally done with trying. At our grandson's birthday party 2 weeks ago the only thing she said to me was a rude & painful comment of how fat I looked. No Hi or Thnk you for coming, just "Gee Mom, You look really FAT!" Anyway Peanut t had great night. We also found out that night DD is pregnant with a boy. Another grandson should make me happy but something tells me we wont have the op of getting very close to this one. emoticon

Easter wasn't! We still have our grandson's goodies here. No call, No dinner or visit, No nothing!

Aside from this I broke my right arm last week falling own my front steps. Can someone say BUBBLE WRAP! emoticon Lord know I need some. And to top it all off I have gained back little weight I lost. Now weighing in at 276 lbs. Yikes!! When it rains, it pours.

I truly hope all my Spark friends are doing well. Sorry that's its been awhile. Feeling a bit overwhelmed.

So sorry for your health issues - having kidney dialysis, etc. I am also very sympathetic about your daughter. She just won't give you a break. Praying for you. emoticon

Let God be your umbrella! He can protect you from the onslaught of the storm. Then, when things seem to never be right, he will shine some Sonlight on you. So sorry for all that is happening to you, but you seem to have a good attitude and a sense of humor about this. May our great God bless you with His peace and may His arms of mercy be your support at this time. emoticon emoticon
