Sugar

Saturday, May 28, 2016

I'm watching a documentary on Netflix about the horrors of sugar. I am most definitely addicted to sugar. I'm not looking to cut it out entirely, but I need to cut out a lot. Being sick this week has helped a bit, although I've had a horrible sore throat (so horrible!) so I got some "No Sugar Added" popsicles, which help a lot. They taste just like any other popsicles though, so I wonder: "why do the others need added sugar?"

Think on those things, won't ya.

I've cut way back on sugar and I feel much better. Now if I eat something with sugar, it's too sweet. Also I make food without sugar and those who are used to sugar miss it. But I think food tastes better.
Good luck on your sugar journey.

I saw the same documentary on Netflix a month ago..

I refuse to eat processed sugar and anything made with it! I have lost weight..I no longer have horrendous head aches..I feel so much better..

That being said..I don't/won't use artificial sweetners either..they are so much worse for the body than sugar itself!

Once I saw what sugar does to the body..and what the body does with sugar..it was easy to stop eating it..'Cold Turkey' style.

I have some great recipes on getting my daily 'glucose' not 'sucrose' sugar from fruit and veggies..
