No, YOU Don't Want Me To.

In 2005 at age 25, I joined a gym. As the employee gave me the facility tour we had the standard gym conversation. "So, what do you want to get out of your workouts?"
I responded, "I want to run my boobs off."
He smiled and said, "you don't want to do that."
I looked him in the eye and said "No, YOU don't want me to do that."
Boy did he stammer and blush.
I never ran them off but I also never truly appreciated a 36C. Oh 36C, how I miss you.
Which beings me to the string bikini.
I was a chubby kid so when I found myself small enough to comfortably wear one in public in my early 20s, I was elated. Hooray! All hail the string bikini!
I honestly never turned many heads, but I also don't think anyone grimaced at the sight of me either, so, awesome.
Then I grew. Then I shrunk! (Thanks to Spark People, 2007-2008) Then I grew, had two kids and grew some more.
Technically I could still wear a string bikini in public - I see women larger than me wear them all the time. But just because I can doesn't mean I want to or should.
I want to wear a string bikini AND feel good while wearing it (read: not having to adjust my top every ten seconds for fear of something falling out.)
So today I bought a string bikini. I like it. Technically it does fit on my body. The bottoms fit nicely. But no I will not be wearing it in public for quite some time. I will get there, darn it. Hooray!
