1. Weight - losing 2. Health- improving 3. Energy-up 4. Posture - reality check. I have worked at a desk for 37 years, on a computer since 1981. My daughter told me, stand straight, your posture is terrible. Okay, challenge taken. I sit at my computer (I know, I know) go to you tube and go to this video. First you stand with your back against the wall. Put your but, shoulders, and back of the heat, with chin tucked down. He says, do NOT tip your head back. for the complete exercise. Any way, I think, how easy is this....this old girl had to use the pillow and had to really work to press my arms back Reality check...I have turned into my grandmother. The chiropractor who posted this has several videos on stretches and exercises to improve this, plus a new awareness will, hopefully, improve this but it is hard. I know it sounds stupid, but trying to sit and stand properly is painful after years of slouching. I am making it a priority to add these to my daily routine. I don't want to look any more like the picture below than I already do.
