Day #238 of my adventures in Spark Land Home Work Play Challenge Completed!

This is one challenge I wouldn't mind doing over when I am not doing Jessica Smith Challenge at the same time!

Today is day #238 here in Spark Villa!

I am so excited about my the new adventure road I am about to take.. I have noticed a lot of my pins on pinterest are about self care. I have decided that I need to start diving into self care. Self-care for me is breaking some out records and starting a whole new life. Come along with me on my journey!

I did start this pin a few weeks ago entitle 30 things to start doing for yourself which I would like to finish up. It is helping my on this adventurous road. #16 is start cheering for other people's victories. emoticon To be honest, I have done that all my life. I need to actually start cheering for my own victories! Don't worry, I will still cheer all my spark friends on to victory!

I also started this pin entitled 50 ways to practice self care. #18 is treat yourself to your favorite dessert. I don't have one! See why I need to learn about self care?

I do want to finish up commenting on the pin I've been putting on my status updates: Things to do when you are feeling down. I am finishing the social column:
*Counsel someone. I counseled all my friends in college actually and was told I should be a counselor. My mom said NO and sent me to a college where that was not an option!
*Give some money away-we talked about this in church a 2 weeks ago. I need to allow the spirit to lead me on this topic.
*Organize a card game-who plays cards anymore?
*Invite someone shopping-that could be fun with the right person!
*Bake bread for a neighbor-I made my aunt cherry bread once. She loved it!
*Send an encouraging email-yep that is me cheering other's up!

I am on 2 other challenges:
#1) Declutter my house in a year I got from pinterest. My mission today: declutter the hallway-done!
#2) Jessica Smith's 28 day Fall back into Fitness. Today was day #27. I did 2 new exercises: 30-minute barefoot Fusion Walk + 10 minute Flexibility Training. It does not seem possible 28 days are almost up!!!

75 days until son's winter break. Today is fall fun day! Made son and gf Apple turnovers for breakfast. Now it's off to grandpa's to winterize everything-he lives on a lake. Later it is Hallmark movie 'Autumn in the vineyard'. The leaves are a golden yellow outside my window. Autumn is here!
