I did it! I did it! I did it!

Today is day #239 here in Spark Villa!

I am getting ready to start another journey of sorts on here into a wonderful adventure of self care. First I want to finish up the pin I started from pinterest entitled things to do when you are feeling down that I've been putting on my status updates. Tomorrow I will add the last one on the status updates and talk about the last few on here and Tuesday I will be embarking on a new adventure on here. Anyhow under spiritual:
*Attend a church service-A person needs to find the right fit for them in order to be uplifted.
*Read the Bible-This can be uplifting. I've been taught this is how God talks to us.
*Memorize a Bible verse-I have a hard time in this area.
*Listen to worship music-this does uplift me!
*Watch worship online-this can be uplifting again if it fits your needs.
*Pray-I've been taught this is how we talk to God
*Meditate on a Bible verse-this can be uplifting as well

emoticon 30 days to start doing for yourself. Which I am on day # 17 which is looking for the silver lining in tough situations. My road as a single parent as not been easy. I have been down the paths no person should have to travel on. Looking for the silver lining is something I am retraining my brain to do.

emoticon 50 ways to practice self-care. #19 it to buy yourself some flowers. I've done that a few times. My favorite it actually to pick wild daisies!

I am still on a wonderful challenge I found on pinterest entitled declutter my whole house in a year. This challenge has really helped. I grew up with hoarders. I hate a cluttered home but by decluttering my place little by little, it has helped me feel better inside. Today's mission is: declutter or display collections or collectibles. To be honest, I don't have either because they seem to much like hoarding to me.

I am also starting a new challenge on Spark People entitled Fit Food Challenge! Today I am to plan the menu for the week, go shopping, and maybe prepare some food ahead of time. I have planned my menu actually for the next 2 weeks. I may have to change it. Unsure yet. I am going shopping tomorrow, Well I hope to.

74 days left until my son's winter break. Today my son and gf will be leaving no later then 2 so I am not attending church. My aunt (you know the one) is actually coming. She hasn't met gf and it's a long story so she will be coming up to do that! Maybe some stories tomorrow-eeks! My Fall Fun was going to be Little Debbie's Fall snack cakes well someone ate them Friday night when he discovered them. LOL
