New Day, New Thoughts

Monday, June 26, 2017

It's time to get motivated again. Summer 5% Challenge is about to start. I'm blessed to be on the Shooting Stars team again. The best team, with the best support and encouragement. I've gotten lazy since the last challenge, but that stopped today. I took a nice walk with puppy Sam today and it felt great. I have a feeling this challenge is really going to shake things up for me. I lost 30 pounds and then got complacent, then gained some back. I'm refocusing and setting new goals. I'm no longer satisfied with where I am. This may sound silly, but one of my main goals is to trim up my neck! It really makes me feel fat and old. The only way to do that is to lower my sugar and increase my exercise with more intention to lose more fat. I also plan to start resistance training, something that I've put off.

So wish me success and say a prayer for me. I want to soar.

Glad we are on the shooting stars together. I am in a similar situation in that I lost about 30 lbs but started to gain some of it back. You can do this! I hope you are having a great day.

Prayers always for my Shooting Stars and my online friends. I also gained a bit back, so I am in the same boat. Being in our Shooting Star community, has helped me try every day ans staying focused. It is hard sometimes, but you are doing it. Remember you had quite of bit happening, and it is okay to allow yourself time to refocus and regroup. No rush. You are on the right path, and we have all summer to make some good choices and getting ourselves moving. I will do my first workout segment for you (dancing to my favorite music today).
