Such an Improvement

A year ago I had a really hard time walking around the local college lake. I was sweating and huffing and puffing and had to take breaks. This evening I walked it at a fast pace, no problem. Wasn't even breathing hard. I would have walked more, but it was getting dark. Wow. I've always hated exercise, but I've really enjoyed walking the last month or so. I go to different parks and walk with my dog in the late afternoons and meet a friend to walk laps around the mall in the morning. I've been getting around 8,000 steps. This is a great improvement over the 1,000 I used to get. Now to add strength training. I'm concentrating on my 10+ fitness minutes a day and have been averaging 50 minutes.
