I talked to my Dr. she told me that I'm not loosing weight because I'm exercising to maintain my weight, that I need to exercise at least 5-6 days a week to lose weight. So now that it's cooler I will make an effort to get out and walk on the odd days that I'm not swimming.

    That would be good to increase the walking. Swimming sure is good, too. Do you have any hand weights to do ST? Or a resistance band? Might help as well.

    Yet your doctor hasn't mentioned your diet? Weight loss is 80% what and how much you eat..i dropped 30 pounds without doing any workouts

    Either its to much or 2 little.. Don't get discouraged.. My nutritionist said.. To loose weight.. 2.5 to 3 hours a week. And 1200 cal. A day. Its still slow going. Press on we have this. Stay positive and true to you and your goals..

    Sometimes just changing up will help quite a bit. Something as simple as getting an exercise band and doing a SparkPeople video. Or if you get PBS, look up a show called 'Classical Stretch". 22 quick minutes. Stretch doesn't quite describe.
