Today is the day!

Today is the day I start the 30 day walking challenge! I have looked at my schedule and planned my walks for the entire month. Even downloaded an To do app that reminds me so I can check it off 😁 I’m realizing that this journey will be like a part time job.... it takes time to plan and execute so that my days are “foolproof”. I know when and where and there is no more “I’ll do it later” cause my “later” never came. My Fitbit is charging and my goals are set. I have a daily goal of 5000 steps. Told my coworker who was quick to say “you should have 10 000 a day” But Guess what? This is my journey, if I’m not able to walk 10 min fast paced w/o muscle cramp WHY would I set myself up for guaranteed failure?? Makes no sense. So my goals are small but within reach and my goal is to walk 5K on July 22. My plan is to get there w/o unnecessary issues and aches. My first walk is as soon as the Fitbit is charged! 🚶🏻‍♀️

    Yes!! I have a bad knee, so walking for extended periods of time can be a challenge for me. The current thought now is, if you can sustain a 10 minute minute walk, and do that a couple of times a day, that's a great start!! Way to go!!
