I have not blogged much... Thursday May 3/18

Friday, May 04, 2018

I never know what to blog. I get stuck on what would be interesting enough in my life to " put out there".

I have been thinking and I have decided that this is My Journey so I am going to use this space as another tool to help me in this journey of mine .

I have Inspirational Cards. I pull out one from time to time and ponder the message or quote that is on it. Often they are very timely - just what I need!

Today's:
" NATURE - Sometimes all you need is to go outside. BREATHE the fresh air to REMEMBER who you are and where you want to be."

It's like fresh air washed over me. I have been feeling so stifled. Constricted. Burdened. Overwhelmed. My eating and exercise have been less than stellar. Weight is sticking to me like mud. I love nature. It frees me and connects me at the same time.
It's been a long grey Canadian Winter. It's time for the earth, and myself, to come forward and renew, to feel a renewal and revitalization. I feel a glimmer of it as I picture Nature in my mind.
Breathe... Remember.... There is more than the daily grind. Feel alive and free your spirit to soar where you want to be in your life!

This was a nice reminder that walking outside frees mind and helps to stay focused on our journey to a healthy life. When I ride bicycle outside I always breathe 3 in 4 out and compared to the stationary cycling later I fell how I after- burn more calories just by how I feel, I’m freezing for instance and am light- headed. Thank you for your words and also for checking on my activity. BTW, I know these long strong dark winters from Slovakia where I grew up. emoticon

I really enjoyed your blog! I am one who loves the outdoors as well. It is so comforting and relaxing. We held a Graduation party out at our county lake today. So many people sitting around, and it was if the crowd was stress free and really enjoying being out in the air and sun. It was so calming with a gentle breeze blowing and the beautiful scenery. Not just the adults, but the children were really enjoying being out in nature. It was just a wonderful thing to view. A renewal for all, to just remember to slow down and breathe.

I loved your blog. Thank you for sharing. I like that at times we need to go back to nature and just breathe! Breathe life back into our bodies and help us refuel to enjoy another day. So many beautiful things, let's enjoy them. Let's strive and do what is right for us!

Sunshine is some of the best medicine!!! Increased Vitamin D helps your immune system and can boost your energy levels making us feel better overall. I love your quote!

I don't blog for some of the same reasons you mention. I love your idea that it is for you - hope encouragement from your fellow travelers helps.

I work in a basement space with little natural light, and I can really feel the difference when I get outside. I grew up on a farm and nature and being outside are great ways to get a boost.

I can relate to this! Winters are hard for me, I tend to slip into "hermit-mode" and bad habits take over. Spring is a renewal in so many ways and I am never happier than when I'm surrounded by all the new life nature has to offer. 🏞️
