5% Blog - Improvements

Our challenge this week for our 5% spring challenge is to post a blog each day about a different topic. I didn't have a very good internet connection while I was away for the weekend so I decided to start today.

Today's question that I picked was - What areas are you improving in?
-I'd say that I've definitely improved in a few ways. First, I've become much better at posting regularly. I've been remembering, especially throughout the weekends when we're trying to land, to post my information to try to get the team to our destination. I haven't been as successful in posting every day throughout the week, but I do always remember on Friday to get the points up there if I haven't yet done so.
-I'd say I've also improved in exercising regularly. Being a part of the Awesome A team gives me accountability. It makes me feel as if I'm letting my team down if I don't exercise and have points to post. It also sets me up for better, healthier days, because I'm getting my minutes in.
-Thirdly, I think that my nutrition has greatly improved. I tend to fall off of the food tracking wagon a lot, but I've been excellent about doing it this round, and it's paying off. I write out my meal plan on Saturday or Sunday, shop, and prep for it, and then track it on the Spark App as I go throughout the week. It helps me to see where I'm in need - whether over-eating or lacking nutrition. I've learned when to time my food as well, such as eating more protein in the mornings to keep me fuller throughout the day.

I'm so thankful to be a part of such a wonderful and positive challenge!
