emoticon How I love summertime! Days are longer and the pace of life slows down a bit.
I take more time to be with family and friends.
I love gardening. Nurturing the plants nurtures my soul.
Walking along the ocean beach feeds me spiritually and balances my emotions.
I wake to the music of dear songbirds in the trees around our home.
There are fresh berries to enjoy, plus so many other fresh fruit and veggies.
I am very thankful!

    Hi Dianne,
you live beautifully! I’m glad for you! Thank you for the support. I’ve been absent due to injury. Back now. I’ll try the yoga practices you recommend, thank you! Summers are hot here in FL but we still enjoy the bike rides! I‘ll see what you were up to! emoticon

Summer is one of my favorite seasons, too. Now that I'm retired there's time to actually enjoy it! Thanks for posting.

I wish that we lived a bit closer to the lake! I love being at the beach but it is about 90 minutes so too far to go unless it is the weekend and then we have had such crazy weather the past couple of weeks! Either smoking hot and humid or violent storms.

    AW, that's lovely.

I was just reading the Summer section of a new book I have (Your Irresistible Life - 4 Seasons of Self-Care through Ayruveda and Yoga Practices that Work - by Glynnis Osher and Melanie Phillips). The journal prompts ask what summer means to us. You've done a great job expressing this here. Thank you!
