tracking is good

Thursday, August 30, 2018

Well, good, bad, or ugly, I tracked what I ate today. I am happily impressed that I am IN my calorie range! My choices could have been MUCH better, but I am thrilled to see that the total is not so bad. Sometimes, even if you THINK you went nuts, you didn't do quite as badly as you thought. today, was one of those days, and I am glad. I've been so down in the dumps about much of my challenge to live a healthier lifestyle that this was a pleasant surprise. I needed a little positive on this journey!

Yep Track the good and the not so good too.
I find if I track and see I went over I can twerk it to fit. If I mess up I go back and add. If I go over one day I will try to go under the next.
Seeing is believing as they say. emoticon

You always need to celebrate your successes and to celebrate often. We tend to forget where we were. By thinking back and remembering, and re-celebrating you will motivate yourself again to continue. Things are not always as bad as they appear.

Keep on going just one day at a time. Keep tracking it really helps. I like to look at the nutritional part and try to improve those numbers too.

Good for you. We can always make better choices but what fun would that be. To keep up a lifestyle you have to enjoy. Keep up the good work.
