I wasn't feeling my walk today, when I started out, but I forced myself to get on with it, and I'm so thankful I did. I've noticed that if I can stay on the phone with a friend while I'm walking, I usually exceed my goals. I guess maybe I get bored when it's just me out there lapping it alone...Idk...but I got it done, regardless!

    It does help, I keep pace with music too. I get bored with my route, so I have to add some added obstacles (jumping Jack's, high knees, ham string kick backs)

    Talking on the phone keeps your mind off your walking and the effort you are making which makes the time go so much faster. Either that or play music.

    Good for you. I hear what you're saying about being bored. Talking on the phone or listening to music breaks the monotony.
