Sickness

I have had what feels like the flu. In bed for 2 days .. not much fever. Cough . Then I sneezed and strained my back. So on top of everything else I have to deal with back pain. What can I do?

I am still watching the calories but cannot exercise at all.

    I feel some better but still on call at work. I had to work 20 hours yesterday. Stressed emoticon

    Obviously the ice/heat alternations and plenty of fluids are good ideas. To address your issues of your eating, try to make sure you are eating healthy and/or complete foods. Eggs, cheese, nuts, and whole grains, even fresh vegetables can be easy to combine (e.g., omelets). And track your calories. Being sick is not a license to eat junk food, but healthy foods will help your recovery and also keep your weight in reasonable bounds. Hope you feel better soon!

    So sorry! Hugs and prayers and take care of yourseof. The suggestion of using ice or heat on your back is a good one. Take an over-the-counter pain reliever. Plenty of fluids. And REST.
