Every Day, is Day One...

Saturday, June 01, 2019

I've had a personal revelation today... I've seen so many blogs and posts say that this is "Day One" or "I'm starting day one of my journey..." For me, EVERY day, is day one... I start over each day... not because I've messed up or eaten too much the day before (though sometimes that IS the case), but because every day is a new opportunity to keep trying...to keep going... this is a journey for me that will never end. I will always have to be careful with what I eat and how much. I will always have to be mindful of whether or not I've had enough water, or exercised. My health and how I care for it, is comprised of choices that I make day by day. Yes, I started "my journey" almost a year ago of making better choices and trying to be a better/healthier version of myself... but every day is a clean slate for me. And I am in no way trying to downplay those that do count the days... I am all for whatever helps along the way. I am simply speaking for myself... I know that we all have to do whatever it takes to see ourselves through this process... it's not easy! But knowing that I have (and that we all have) a fresh start every morning, helps. I wish you all a wonderful Saturday!

Great blog - I agree every day is a new start - just take it one day at a time with respect to weight issues or just plan life - and it will surprise you how much better you feel and all that you can accomplish
