NSVs for week 2

Friday, October 18, 2019

Wrapping up week 2 of the 5% Fall Challenge, and, in advance of tomorrow's weigh-on, I want to take note of what has gone well this week - in case the scale doesn't reflect it.

emoticonExceeded my weekly walking commitment by 62 min (an extra hour!)
emoticonDrank 8 glasses of water every day but one (and that one was planned, because I had a concert and I didn't want to be up every 10 minutes to use the restroom)
emoticonJournaled all my food
emoticonLogged all my walking
emoticonStayed within my SP calorie range and avoided eating/drinking too many empty calories
emoticonPosted my minutes and LTGL totals to my team board daily
emoticonThrew away 1/2 serving of ice cream because i was done with it
emoticonThrew away 1/2 serving of cookies because I realized I didn't need that many
emoticonLimited myself to one craft beer per brewery visit with DH
emoticonKept healthy snacks in the house
emoticonWas active on SP daily, reading articles and posting to the community boards
emoticonSaid no to DH's suggested stop at See's
emoticonLimited snacking on free sweets at work (and when I did, I planned it and counted it)

So, much progress made in the healthy habits arena, and if they don't pay off on the scale this week, if I keep them up I'm sure they will eventually.
