I have a bad habit that I need to break. I do well through the day. I drink my water and I eat small portions and walk at lunch while I am at work. I have gained 50 pounds since my husband retired. He is the main cook and grocery shopper. He is a wonderful cook and it makes him feel needed. But he encourages me to eat seconds. Last night I ate my plate and wanted more.. It is a habit. A BAD HABIT to go back for more. I remembered a tip .. wait 20 minutes before you get more food. It takes 20 minutes for your stomach to tell your brain you are full. So to make a long story short I said no thank you to seconds and went to get busy with my main hobby. Knitting.
