Chronic Pain and Walking πŸšΆβ€β™€οΈ

For years, I've lived with chronic pain. But walking every day has really helped. When I'm on my daily walks, the pain in my knees, joints and feet nearly disappears altogether.

This motivates me to get up each day and set out for a walk on the wooded trails. It's my happy place. It's the part of my day when I'm free from discomfort and truly enjoy moving.

Hopefully, as the extra bulk drops off of my frame and my muscles and joints become stronger, the pain will subside in my daily life, too.

    I've read that moving circulates the "synovial fluid" in joints. As long as you aren't doing damage, and can work through the pain, it's probably helpful in a number of ways. emoticon

    So glad to hear that gentle exercise gives you some relief! I have achy hip joints, and some days I wake up feeling ancient.
