Hey there!!! I know its been forever since I blogged (and I used to be here every day!). Things have just been crazy and I don't have time during the day to get away. I thought I would maybe try just doing a little update most days just to get myself back in the habit. Let's do this.
Exercise Plan this week:
T: Run (2.6 miles of trails)
F: Rest or Walk
S: Long Run (7+ miles)
I am training for a half marathon that has gone virtual on September 20th. I developed some Achilles soreness a few weeks ago. It comes and goes and certain things aggravate it more than others (the trail run was probably a bad idea). I have had this same issue before and am doing my exercises. Here's hoping it starts to go away soon!
I've also tracked my food on Monday and Tuesday so far this week. I am not using SP for that right now because I felt like I needed something new and shiny to try to keep my attention. Plus, my best friend uses it and I like that we're on there together. I don't plan on adding people I don't know on there. While I love my Spark Friends here, many of whom have turned into real friends, I think its just what I need right now!
I need to drink more water, story of my life. Probably not helping the Achilles pain (running in 90º heat and humidity).
