Hey there!!! I know its been forever since I blogged (and I used to be here every day!). Things have just been crazy and I don't have time during the day to get away. I thought I would maybe try just doing a little update most days just to get myself back in the habit. Let's do this.

Exercise Plan this week:
emoticon M: Lifting
emoticon T: Run (2.6 miles of trails)
emoticon W: Lifting
emoticon Th: Cardio
emoticon F: Rest or Walk
emoticon S: Long Run (7+ miles)
emoticon S: Rest

I am training for a half marathon that has gone virtual on September 20th. I developed some Achilles soreness a few weeks ago. It comes and goes and certain things aggravate it more than others (the trail run was probably a bad idea). I have had this same issue before and am doing my exercises. Here's hoping it starts to go away soon!

I've also tracked my food on Monday and Tuesday so far this week. I am not using SP for that right now because I felt like I needed something new and shiny to try to keep my attention. Plus, my best friend uses it and I like that we're on there together. I don't plan on adding people I don't know on there. While I love my Spark Friends here, many of whom have turned into real friends, I think its just what I need right now!

I need to drink more water, story of my life. Probably not helping the Achilles pain (running in 90ยบ heat and humidity).

That's it for today! If I can keep up this quick blogging, I'll be back in a routine in no time!

    Great to see you back! I feel ya on being busy. Great looking workout schedule! That is awesome. I'm trying to train for a virtual 5 k. Slow progress, but having not been running consistently, is this is my way back to it. Look forward to hearing more soon!

    I was thinking about you since I've recently started back on my Sparkpage and I clicked on your profile and was so happy to see your update!

    I'm back to trying to find my healthy and feel like I'm in a really great mindset this time-- making a sustainable, enjoyable lifestyle this time instead of some rush/race to get as skinny as possible as quickly as possible. Plus I have so much more to lose this time around after 5 years of chaos tornado aftermath.

    I've been getting my miles in and really want to start working on some strength training at home. Just have to do it!

    I love all your goals and your upcoming marathon. I've never been courageous enough to tackle the running thing. I got up to one entire mile years ago from following a C25K program. I've been doing intervals during my walks and have made it up to about 6 or 7 intervals for longer and longer duration, so maybe, eventually, a long long time from now, I'll get the courage to do a 5K or something.
