Survived and Thrived

Here I am. For a bit in the middle of the big Brazilian Covid Lockdown I must admit I was rather sad. My dh and I were to go to the USA in May for a month of graduations, weddings and family reunion time, and I was going to get new glasses there. I was so disappointed when all our plans were cancelled.
But on the other hand, after things calmed down, I got new glasses here instead. We made lots of virtual video phone calls with family. And, I invested mega hours into my visual prayer ministry and shifted our emphasis from IRL workshops to social media platforms. And, somehow I survived and even thrived.
God is certainly good even when we don't understand all the craziness around us.
My daily morning walks with two friends were cut at the beginning of the pandemic. One friend just had a baby, the other called me up to walk one day, but disappeared thereafter. So my walks have been alone and inconsistent. This is my birthday month and I am determined, determined to vamp up my "game" and get with it exercise wise.
Yesterday I went through my Spark exercise videos to find the ones I like best. I'm going to be riding my bike in the afternoons when we are not on the road. And I guess it's time to re-examine my food intake. I sure love sweet Brazilian coffee!
Here's to a good November!
