Progress

Friday, March 12, 2021

I made myself a schedule to follow to try to stay consistent. It worked for a week and then I got sick and I'm still recovering and dealing with allergies. I consistently tracked for a week and then kind of fell off but have continued trying to be active..but this week I definitely missed my step goal. Im realizing it is very important that i keep tracking my food simply because I need more fiber & it helps fight my bloat lol. I only lost a half a pound this last week, but I've lost almost 7 lb since beginning my journey again. I have high expectations but I need to learn to slow down and take the little victories as they come. At the beginning of the year I took my measurements. Since then I've lost several inches from my chest waist hips and thighs. 7 lb doesn't seem like a lot but an inch here and a half an inch there makes a big difference. I have to remember that those measurements are important as well. I still struggle with looking at myself because I have never been this big in my life, even while pregnant. I'm grateful that my husband still finds me attractive, but it's difficult to find myself attractive. I know that if I keep trying and lose some weight and I'm able to move around more and feel comfortable in my own skin I will feel more attractive to myself. I had a goal to lose another 8 lbs by April 2 but I'm going to reduce that to 5 lbs. Losing over 2 lbs a week is not going to happen for me but losing 5 in 3 weeks just might be if I keep to my goals. -meet my step goal each day - track my food - try not to overstress And most importantly -NO STRESS EATING! Have a great weekend y'all!
