Ouchie Knee, Canceled Trip, & Tracking

The other day I was hiking and at the 14,000 step mark I felt a soft tissue pain in my knee. I switched dogs with hubby, giving him Rebel and taking Royce who doesn't pull on the leash as much. It's the same knee I've had major issues with before. This time it is a relatively mild injury but enough to keep me on the sofa for a day and only doing upper body exercise. This morning I did a 5 minute walk with Rebel and will continue to limit walking for a few days.

A month ago we booked a provincial campsite near Whistler BC. This week the mayor there said people should stay away from the town because of the recent COVID stats. It was easy to decide to cancel our reservations, even though we keep to ourselves and would likely be quite safe. But that would mean we would just be sitting around the campsite not going to beach in the town or sightseeing.

This week in the 5% Challenge we are nutrition tracking. It is something I want to commit to until I reach my preferred weight. But the reality is, it does take time and commitment; but it works!
