How do you stop intense cravings?

A couple of days ago my blood pressure and blood sugar was high. I was sick and craving lemons and salt or Vlasic zesty pickles. I stopped by the store on the way home from work. I bought a jar of pickles. I ate the entire jar of pickles with the juice before I got home. I physically felt better. My blood pressure and blood sugar improved. Last night I craved salsa. I bought some and had a little but the craving didn't go away. I finished the jar of salsa this morning. I crave clear soup a lot especially when my allergies are acting up. I also crave Progresso soup with garlic powder added when my nose is running. I crave lemons, pickles, and grapes when my sugar is high or when I have had too much meat. It seems like the combo of food cravings help me to eat what I need to prevent high cholesterol and inflammation, so I try to allow myself to have a little bit of what I am craving. The problem is when I give myself a little, the craving doesn't go away until I've overdone it. I clearly have a binge eating disorder. Now how do I stop it?
