So I had good intent to really start eating healthier and get on a better track. But I ended up having a bad binge today maybe the rebellious streak in me. Had a terrible result on the scale, too. Was to be expected. So I'm going through the cupboards, fridges, freezers, reorganizing everything, locking up any junk food snacks that made their way into the regular pantry, and taking an inventory of what we have so I can make some better meal plans until I do my big grocery trip next week. I've been off track basically for the past month and a half and since I've started actually going backwards now, now is the time to really re-evaluate and start making some changes. I'm actually on a good track with everything else. I'm feeling much better and am much more active. I'm getting a lot done around the house and my ribs have still been healing well despite the bad eating. I am back to working out again and trying to focus mostly on rehabilitation these days. Getting healthier is a big goal for me. It allows me to do more and be more active and that will help me the most.
Eating High Quality Foods: Have not been doing well lately, but I have my nabumetone back now and I am ready to recommit. I have an idea of what I am going to eat today and more resolve. I am going to eat higher quality foods today and get back on a better track. Since I am feeling better it will be easier for me to cook meals and prepare food and spend more time in the kitchen.
Accurately Measure & Track Food: I've been tracking food again and measuring and at least I know where I've been off track. So it will be easier to correct the things that aren't working. I've been doing the motivation Spark program lately but I think I'll switch back to the Plateau Busting program as I feel like I'm on more of a plateau because I keep kind of stagnating in the same general area without making much progress. I could use the boost and reminder of healthy habits.
Drink at least 64 ounces of water: I've been back to drinking unsweetened beverages and drinking more water again. I need to start tracking my water, though, and in general paying more attention to what I am drinking overall.
Non-Scale Victory: My biggest nonscale victory lately is being able to admit where I've gone wrong. I could just keep making the same mistakes, but I'm willing to change my habits and start making progress again.
Fitness: Fitness is going well. I'm back on track with it and enthusiastic about working out. I have a nice setup in my room for working out and all the workout supplies. I'm prepared and getting the job done.
Sleep: Sleep has kind of gotten off track again. I'm not resting as much as I should be and my schedule is off. So I need to start doing sleep meditations again.
Quit Progress: Been cutting back a lot on smoking. Trying to cut my smoking budget so I can spend more money on other things.
Meditation: Gotten back to meditation a bit, which has been helpful. Still have more to work on here, but have gotten a small start.
Inflammation/Bloat/Weight Loss: Still very bloated and inflamed and weight is way up but at least do have the nabumetone now.
Ready for a reboot and to work as hard as I can over the weekend.
