FYI: Washing produce does NOT remove DDT. It is IN the food. I do buy American or Canadian foods there.

Today is a laid-back day with DD feeling so bad. I am getting little things done around the house and already did almost my entire workout this morning. I added some more leg exercises and seated ones.

I am trying to get educated on the freggies from Aldi. The iceberg lettuce I bought states it is a product of the US. Since I live in Georgia I know we have a lot of fresh freggies farms around here. Lane's orchard is one of the largest peach farms, Vadalia produces the onion, Cordele is the largest watermelon producer and the southwest of the state produces the most tomatoes.

I read that DDT is still used today in South America, Africa, and Asia on a variety of food crops. But I could find nothing about Mexico. I found an article on Snopes "The first 3 digits of the barcode is the country code wherein the product was made." I will be on the lookout. Thank you for the heads up.

Yes. You are right. The DDT is in the food.

So sorry to hear that DD is still feeling so awful. HUGS and prayers.

    Happy Mother's Day.
