Happy Monday!

I'm going to start off asking for prayers for this mama - my anxiety is sky high this week leading up to graduation on Sunday and my senior isn't helping - "I don't even want to have a party". Ugh...

It's been a rough day emotion-wise. Mike got up at 4:30 and I don't know why I even bother trying to go back to sleep. It never works. I got up, had my Energize, read my Bible and devotional and tackled my workout. I say tackled, because it's the hardest workout in the whole program. Whew!

I took my shower, got the boys up, and had my breakfast. Matthew had to have his lab work done this morning, so he had to skip his breakfast and they headed out a little bit earlier. Once they left I got the dishes washed and the bed made.

Next up was a trip to town. I stopped at the post office to drop off a package and then it was to the high school for the final rehearsal with AMS. They are singing at Baccalaureate Wednesday night. I stopped at Fareway to get spinach afterwards and came home.

Once home I started on laundry. I ended up getting 4 loads done and I'm quitting. I should do one more, but I am spent. I finally was able to watch Thursday's episode of Young Sheldon, then I got a few episodes of NCIS: Los Angeles watched before I headed back for HS Choir for graduation song rehearsal.

Now, I'm just ready to crash. I know that everything will be fine, my brain just won't listen to me.

1. Nutrition: okay
2. Fitness: Day 43 - Lift & Shift: High Intensity Interval Resistance Training
3. Personal: Read my Bible and devotional; haven't really done anything - I'll work in my puzzle book later; phone/computer time was okay.

Tomorrow - I have the morning at home and then I head to the middle school for rehearsal with the 7/8 choir and the 6th grade choir. Not really excited about it yet, but the concert is May 20th. I will try to get some cleaning done.

My son says he doesn't want a party either. They hate being the center of attention. but when it is over they like that you did something and had a memory of it.

    Have a great day

Sending you prayers and a hug Kellie. Please don't feel guilty about how you feel. COVID fatigue is real, and I think that before we're done, there will be so much information that comes out about what these last 14 months have done to us psychologically. All we can do is hang on and do our best. And from what I know of you, your best is pretty darn good. xoxo emoticon

Oh my stars.....you just reminded me what it was like having a middle schooler and high schooler graduating at the same time. I will certainly pray for you. Then, 4 years later, it was a high schooler and college student.bPeace and strength to you.
