Currently, Luis has just gotten out of the hospital. William has been on a ventilator for over a week. Though he is improving, there is a concern regarding serious kidney and lung damage.
I love the work of renowned photojournalist Steve McCurry. And because this one feels so appropriate at the moment, I wanted to share it with my Spark community. It helps put things in perspective. Me with my "first world" problem of the dissolution of SparkPeople vs. the humanity McCurry brings front-and-center in the poignant photographs...as well as the worldwide COVID crisis.

I took this on a Sunday morning as we were returning from weekly market, having just gotten off of the bus at the front of her place near Cotacachi, Ecuador.
