New beginnings - Not so good after all

Tuesday, December 04, 2007

OK so i revamped my goals and was determined to go for a walk this morning. Had decided that once my maid comes in at 6:30 will go for a walk instead of snuggling into bed again...and woohooo my maid didn;t come and so i didn;t wake up till 7:45 and had to run to office without packing my lunch :-( and not eating breakfast at home

So thats two resolutions down the drain - the walk and breakfast

Lunch - thot i would eat whatever vegetables my office canteen gave and they give me TINDA (a form of bitter gourd) - Yuckksss that ensured i ran to subway for lunch and the guy put mayo on my subway by mistake :(

Lol - the world seems to be conspiring against me - But oh No world u wont succeed - am definately going to eat my quota on fruits for today and tommorow Nattie_gal shall walk - with or without the maid's influence!!!

Gilu is giving you great advice ! But don't set yourself up for failure by making goals that are too impressive. I resolve to wake up every morning at 6 am & go to the gym(I'll even set 3-4 alarms). In 3 years I've achieved this only 4 or 5 times...get my point ? Have a back-up plan in place so that you stick with it.

    Hi Natie,
Do not worry. This is to be expected on the first day(at least I always do whenever I start back after a break). But the point is you are still determined and that is what is going to help.
Let your determination keep you going.
lol: You might hear the same story you told yesterday and today, in a few days from me, as right now I am off my gym schedule.
