Yay! I was very worried that after eating out at lunch and dinner on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, I'd have gained a few pounds - I did NOT choose the healthiest options.

Yesterday, I made sure to eat within my recommended calorie range.

This morning, I still weigh 210 - which is higher than my starting weight of 208, but at least it's not higher than I'd got to last week! Okay, a few days of focused eating and continuing to work out will definitely show a pound or two lost.

Onwards to smaller and better things. :)

    One of the first things I did to control my portion size (which I knew was way out of control) was to use smaller plates so I didn't get caught up in the "eat everything on your plate syndrome". It really helped. Also, don't forget how important drinking water is - often I found that I was more thirsty than I was hungry - I just didn't recnognize the difference - huge ah ah moment when I recognized that one. This is a learning experience - forget the negative people - they will always exist and will try to sabotage your efforts. Remember who you are doing this for - YOU - to be the best you "YOU" can be. I found that putting motivating pictures up around me (especially on the fridge) helped keep me on track when my willpower seemed to be slipping - it gave me a visual reference of why I "chose" to do this - because I wanted to have enough energy so that I could have fun and not worry about huffing and puffing all the time! YOU CAN DO THIS!!!!!
