emoticon Hi and emoticon to the team. Make this a lifestyle change instead of a diet. When we diet we make temporary changes to the way we eat so when we return to our former way of eating so do the pounds. We need to make permanent changes if we are to succeed so start small and build on each small accomplishment until you are where you want to stay.

Welcome, i just joined about a month ago. I hav lost 4 lbs. I like the community here, lots of inspiration and support, encouragement and sharing, information and tracking tools. Just take it a little at a time and keep pressin on. We're all in this together. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

Welcome and as Dontnodip said take things step by step. I was a former WW member that was stuck as well and paying out a lot of money. If you enter your activities, as to what you want and can do, you will be given a calorie range to follow. If you measure, weigh and track your food it should work out for you. I had the problem with WW as how many extra points I could eat with the activity points I earned. I wasn't balancing out so I was having trouble getting a weight loss at times. This program seems to work for me. I also have a fitbit which has helped. Also add some Sparkfriends as that helps with the support, friendship and accountability. Feel free to add me if you like. Good luck and take your time getting into it so, you aren't overwhelmed.

But if you've been on the WW program you shouldn't have too much trouble sorting it out. Your first order of business should be to set up your goals and learn how to use the nutrition and weight trackers. Those tools will help you the most. Find your support system by joining teams that you identify with easily, like this team emoticon The rest will fall into place.

I like a good SparkPage because it makes the process personal for me and it helps my Spark friends get to know me. I like to blog occasionally, it's a great outlet. I am on a number of teams but this team is my favorite. I use the trackers every day. I surf around the rest of the Spark when I have time.

Stick with us and have some fun while reaching your goal.
