Weekends r difficult for me too. Spark has guides for healthier eating out too. I looked up quite a few restaurants to find the best choices ahead of time, it helps me to plan ahead, but its still a battle sometimes, and sometimes i loss... but i try to get right back on track and the spark community here is very supportive to help me get back on track and cut myself some slack. Progress not perfection. emoticon

My challenge isn't the weekend, it is every afternoon! Most days I do well ... but I'm like everyone else, and there are days I plain blow it. In spite of those set backs, I keep pressing on, and I've lost 5 inches somewhere along the way. emoticon I truly think the exercise is my key to losing.

My kids visit on the weekend and it never fails they want to take me and the wife out to eat and I have a very hard time picking what is best rather than what I really want. Then I don't do the right thing and eat only half of the meal. Many times I go home feeling miserable from eating to much.

My weekend challenge is the snack food my DH wants to eat. Or he wants to eat out.

Weekends the hardest time for me all week. I try to make good choices but it is not always easy. sometimes it is easier if you know where you are going to eat out and see if they have menu with nutritional values online. but as always it is hard. i try to give myself a little leeway at least 1 day on weekend and resolve to make sure I stay on plan the rest of week. Also do not beat yourself up over going over your plan at times. Just take it a day at a time and you will do great.

My last regret was the entire box of Girl Scout cookies that a very nice client at work gave me last week. I was going to toss them in the dumpster after she left, but decided to have just one...then two...next thing I know the entire box was devoured.

Weekends have been a challenge for me, but I got back into crafting again and that seems to help take my mind off food.

Weight loss is accomplished with the mind.

A person who wants something WILL find a way....a person who doesn't will find an excuse.

Which do you prefer?
The pain of self discipline?....or...the pain of self regret?
