My name is Andrea from central Delaware. I am 55, have been a member of SparkPeople since last spring (2017), and have lost 71 lbs. I'd like to lose another 10 lbs., but what I'd REALLY like to do is tone up! Even when I was slim and fit, back in my 20s-30s, I always was kinda flabby, especially my legs. I need to incorporate more strength training into my routine. I have some decent cardio equipment and free weights at home and also go to Planet Fitness to use their machines once a week. I don't really know what to DO with free weights, though, beyond a few very basic exercises. I'm also not someone who learns very well by watching videos -- I have to be SHOWN what to do and guided through the movements to ensure that I'm performing them correctly. Plus, I believe having a buddy would keep me motivated and accountable. Anybody here use Planet Fitness in Milford, Dover, Middletown, or even Newark? (I have a Black Card, so I can go anywhere.)
