My first thought when I hear about skinny fiber was -- this must be a new gimmick. So the first thing I did was google it. I found a ton of sites advocating its amazing properties. Inches lost, Weight Lost.. then I found buried on one the pages a review from a regular person, Like you or I. Basically from what this review has said, I strongly believe that fiber combined with exercise and portion control will make you lose the weight just as easily. I personally use a combination of Cold Pressed Golden Flaxseed and Chia Seeds, for added fiber. I add them to smoothies, oatmeal, cereals, or just plain fruits blended up in to a fresh natural fruit juice.

To each their own I guess, I just prefer fresh natural products that I can incorporate into my long term healthy eating habits rather then something I must pay 50-100 dollars for. Just because I know I will not do that for the rest of my life.

I have tried many different things trying to find works for me. So far the only thing that does is watching what I eat and moving around more. That's why I bought myself a fitbit, I love it. Its kind of embarrassing when I get lazy and don't get in my steps. I have low iron and stay tired alot. Good luck everyone

Fibre in your diet is definitely a good idea, but I'd be wary of anything that claims any kind of 'miracle weight-loss'. We ALL know how hard losing the weight is! What I've been doing is adding fibre as something I monitor in the nutrition tracker and trying to eat more fruit. Some days I totally miss my fibre goal, some days I shoot past it and some days I get it right. Eating more fruit and vegetables, grains and pulses is a much nicer way to up my fibre intake though.

Don't know what SF is. (Slim Fast????) I tried one of those programs - it may have been slim fast but not sure-. After about a week of packaged meals and drinks I had to stop because I was getting sooooooo sick! Turns out there was a TON of salt in it! I generally do not even cook with salt, haven't for as long as I can remember. I do use a very small sparingly amount ( usually 3 - 5 grains) of sea salt in some dishes that I cook now.

You said you hit a plateau, are you taking measurements? I have found that my body looses inches then pounds then inches etc. I never have lost both together. If you have stopped loosing both inches and pounds it is time to shake things up a bit. If you are walking, try a different route with hills, ankle weights, carry 1 or 2 pound dumbbells and exercise your upper body while walking, extend your walk or pick up the pace. Sometimes just a change in exercises and a change in when you do them can be enough to jump start things again.

WHAT IS "SF" ??? NEVER HEARD OF IT. I DO MINE THE NATURAL WAY. WATCH WHAT I EAT, EXERCISE & WALKING. BEST ALTERNATIVE FOR ME.

Have viewed several SF Facebook pages where tons of folks are saying how great SF is.
It is totally natural, no additives & they are losing tons of inches. I don't see any Teams here which I would think they would be by now?
I am at a plateau & thought I would try it? Anyone tried it out there????
