Think about it: your feet have a natural arch and curve to them. When you are heavier, that curve flattens out a bit, making your feet longer. Lose the weight, and your feet spring back to their original shape.

Congrats on getting your arch back!

I'm happy you're ROCKING your new pants!!! Too funny! Another wardrobe thing I've noticed recently - my shoe size is slighter smaller! Who knew being overweight could impact your shoe size too? Damn fat cells! LOL!

OMG, you are so CRAZY!!!!

My heart is filling so full with joy at this post! You are the emblem of what SP is all about - embracing who you are, and taking charge of your destiny by choosing to be bold and courageous! I could not be more proud of you.

What's funny is that while I was in Sacramento this weekend, I went to Target to buy 2 pairs of pants and 2 pairs of shorts with 32" waist (which I wouldn't have been brave enough to buy even a month ago) and I ROCK every one of those items! I was wearing 34" waist pants at church today, and they were so baggy that I was embarrassed to wear them at church today!

We have to be glad for who we are and how we are shaped, and enjoy this journey for what it provides us.

I hope you'll send us a photo of you in your new sleeveless top!

XOXOX

Yesterday, I went shopping for new clothes. I'm enjoying it a little more these days since I'm down a size since the beginning of this journey. I've never particularly enjoyed it in the past because I often have a difficult time finding fashionable clothes for someone as statuesque as me (JK - I am 4'10!). I also make it difficult on myself by imposing ridiculous "rules" when shopping for clothes. I've never liked my arms so one of my rules has always been to steer clear of sleeveless tops. The reason I don't like my arms is because they are not as toned as they used to be. Here's where the "Aha Moment" kicked in - I can fix this problem! Instead of limiting my fashion choices, I'm choosing instead to work on my upper arms as part of my overall fitness routine. I bought my FIRST sleeveless top w/o purchasing something to go with it to cover up my arms. Crazy, right??
What brave new choices have you made in regards to your wardrobe since joining SP?
