Yes, this has been quite the year. Both my hubby and I caught the COVID-19 virus last Spring. Fortunately, we both made it through the virus. I did, however, get permanent damage to both my heart and my lungs.

I definitely know what you mean about losing a tiny amount to fit into size 00......I have never been a size 00 and never shall be that tiny. I cracked down the 1st of last June and have taken off 62 pounds since then. I have gone from 250 down to my current 188. I still need to lose 50 to 60 more pounds to get to a weight that will satisfy my Cardiologist.

How are you doing with your health plan??

Use an UpWalker when walking outside as I am very unsteady.

It's that time of year: stop a sec to reflect on those things you're thankful for (although we should be doing this all the time!)

It's been a tough year: Crazy stuff in the news every day. Pandemic. Weird weather. Through it all there have been bright spots: things that went right: people who REALLY rose above the mess to exude strength and cool-headedness and kindness.

I'm thankful for this site. It's been very helpful as I go from flailing around to streamlining my health plan.

Who is still around in this group? Hit me up: I'd like to share with people who have more in common with me than those people who are trying to lose 3 lbs so they fit in their size 00 jeans, ya know?
