I have been there. What worked for me was eating at the high end of you range one day. Then eat st the low range the next day.

On exercise, switch everything up every few weeks. The idea is to not let your body get used to what you are doing. That is why you remained at the same weight sitting around at your computer. Your body was never shocked by what you were doing,

Now,shake everything up and get past this stuck spot.

Good luck, I believe you will get there!!!

I've always heard that if you seem to be stuck at a certain weight, but are doing the 'right things', that you should maybe measure yourself instead of weighing. You could be at the same weight because you are losing fat but gaining muscle. You might be losing inches.

As for a good vitamin to take, I think it depends on the individual. I take a multivitamin that is made for women. It doesn't have any 'extra' nutrients (such as lutein, E, etc.) because I don't need any of the extras. I also take a calcium supplement every day (and fish oil capsules when I think of them--I don't like the aftertaste). If you take any 'over the counter' supplements, be sure to let you doctor know about them. It's important to have everything on the record at your doctor's office, even the non-prescription things.

'Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming -- WOW -- what a ride!

sounds like your metabolism needs a boost. drinking lots of water helps tremendously.
You can do anything you set your mind to. Keep on trucking, friend.
Don't let numbers get you down. Re-evaluate your goals, journal it all. It does help alot to keep track.

I seem to be stuck on a number, although I'm keeping my calories within the guidelines, exercising three times and week and walking on alternate days. Before I started SP, I ate what I wanted, sat at the computer most of the day and hardly gained any weight. What gives?

The purpose for this forum are for those who need a boost. Sometimes we need a little extra encouragement when we are down or plain don't feel like moving.
Let's encourage one another, be there for each other. We all need encouragement and we all need a friend. Let's move it, move it :)

Journal whatever you maybe feeling, whatever maybe on your mind.
