I did complete this challenge
but wanted to say that I didn't care for the huge long posts, often with just dates; would much prefer each entry being single and new so we could see what participants were doing each day and not have to scroll thru loads of content before finding "my" entry to add my activity for that day or few days.
IMHO
but wanted to put in my two cents. Others may not agree with me but the frustrations led to me giving up on entering my info. just sayin' ---as my kids would say!

May 2 - had tea on balcony with a couple of elderly ladies, 60 minutes
May 3 - bithday party on the balcony, in and out, about 60 inutes
May 4 - play in park with children, 45 minutes
May 5 - walked around carnival - 30 minutes
May 6 - propped foot up outside in the shade, 30 minutes
May 7 - walked around park 10 minutes, sitting in sun 20 minutes
May 8 - checked out gardens at funeral home, 10 minutes, cemetary 20 minutes
May 9 - walked around daughter's garden, sat on deck, 120 minutes total
May 10 - walked around brother's garden, sat on deck, 60 minutes total
May 11 - foot too sore, cold out, only 10 minutes outside
May 12 - watered seedlings, opened & closed greenhouse, 30 minutes
May 13 - drove to appointments, parked at back of lots, walked 30 minutes
May 14 - cleaned deck, off and on, total 30 minutes

Lynette, at the bottom of each post that you make, there'll be an edit button. You can edit by clicking on that. To do one post for the whole month, you can either just copy someone else's post with all the dates, or you can do up your own. Then you just go back to it & edit it each time you want to update your post. It's the same for each post you create. emoticon

But, yeah, while I'm sure we're just supposed to edit one post for this instead of creating a new post every time we update, I don't think that anything was said for sure. I might've just read through too quickly. Either way, unless I'm told otherwise, I'll just go back down to my post with the dates & just edit it each time I update. That's just me. emoticon

I'm starting today.
May 4th - Walked 5km in about 60 minutes
May 5th - Walked 7.4km in roughly 75 minutes. Keep running into neighbours and chatting. It was a long cold winter and we didn't see anyone for so long. Messing up my timing though. lol
May 6th - walked about 3.5 km with a friend roughly 50 minutes. Beauty day, wish I could have been out much longer, but sadly worked inside.
May 7th - Another gorgeous day. Unfortunately no walking outside today though. I did sit outside and had my lunch. Exercise came in the form of a 1 hour yoga class.
May 8 - Walked 3km in 40 minutes after work. Another super day.
May 9 - no walk, but sat outside with friends for 2 hours, this being a be outside for 30mins a day challenge, I guess that counts. I'll be back walking tomorrow!
May 10th - 3km in 45 mins. 20 mins of weeding the garden
May 11th - 3km in 45 mins. 30 mins of cleaning the car
May 12th - gardening for 30 mins. yoga inside for more activity- not feeling great.
May13th - Took my snotty nose and congestion for a 60 min walk.!
May 14th - Loaded car with garage sale items to take to a friends house for a charity garage sale. 40 mins. plus ate lunch outside- activity was done in gym- yoga and pilates today
May 15th - walked in rain for 30 mins
May 16th - walked for 7.4 km outside.
May17th - walked about 6km took around 80 minutes

Although I read this email late, I did go for walks both days.
May 1 with my daughter - 2 miles just over 30 minutes
May 2 with my husband - same loop just over 34 minutes.

Don't let opportunities pass you by. The regret you feel for a lifetime is worse than the anxiety you felt for the moment.
Just do it!

May 1 - discovered that I have a lot of plants as I worked around garden for 45 minutes

Do I reply to join this challenge It's a beautiful sunny day so it's much easier to be outside than it is inside. I spent an hour outside, taking care of my flower beds :)

I'll give it a try!

May 1 - walked the dogs for 40 minutes; raked part of the yard for 30 minutes
May 2 - walked the dogs for 40 minutes; cleaned up the beach for about 15 minutes; did more raking - maybe an hour's worth
May 3 - walked with the dogs for 40 minutes; lopped off bigger brush and used the wheelbarrow to cart it away - about 30 minutes; raked a short time - too many blisters!
May 4 - walked the dogs for 40 minutes; brushed and wheel-barrowed it away for 30 minutes
May 5 - walked the dogs for 40 minutes; this was shopping and errand day (12 stops usually takes me 3 hours), so I deliberately parked far from entrances and walked from store to store outside the mall rather than inside. That added at least another 30 minutes.
May 6 - walked the dogs for 40 minutes; played with the dogs for 15 minutes; made 4 circuits of the yard (1 mile) for 20 minutes
May 7 - walked the dogs for 40 minutes; got my first bike ride in before the rains hit - 30 minutes
May 8 - walked the dogs for 40 minutes
May 9 - walked the dogs for 40 minutes
May 10 - walked the dogs for 40 minutes
May 11 - walked the dogs for 40 minutes
May 12 - walked the dogs for 40 minutes; shovelled snow for 20 minutes!
May 13 - walked the dogs for 40 minutes
May 14 - walked the dogs for 40 minutes
May 15 - walked the dogs for 40 minutes; started digging the barrels that are my garden for 45 minutes

Oh, I'm definitely in!! Being outdoors is my favourite place to be, especially in the heart of nature. I already signed up over at the website for this challenge. emoticon

Activities done outdoors for this challenge:

May 1 - spending time outside with my cat; nature photography; trail walking; hiking up &
down a steep hill; campfire; sitting in nature, including by a lake.
May 2 - kayaking (twice!); hiking; just being outside in nature; walking; campfire; I spent
pretty much all day outside.
May 3 - kayaking; hiking; lunch; spending time with my cat while he was on his harness (he was thrilled that I was home!!).
May 4 - sitting outside on the beach at Harrison Lake; walking in the sand.
May 5 - sitting outside & having my quiet time outdoors. I have a covered patio. So the rain's not an issue. :) I also walked to the grocery store & back.
May 6 - I went for a walk.
May 7 - cleaning my car & walking.
May 8 - I went for a walk.
May 9 - I went to the event honouring the renewal of one of my favourite parks, & I walked around there as well as just sat & reveled in nature. I also went for a hike, although I didn't realise it'd be a hike 'til after the flat part ended & I started heading up the side of a steep hill. It was great, though! :)
May 10 - chatting with the lady who lives upstairs in the house we share. I'm in the ground level suite.
May 11 - walking down by the river.
May 12 - walking.
May 13 - walking.
May 14 - walking.
May 15 - walking.
May 16 - walking.

May 3 - 44 minute family walk on a different part of the trail (the trail runs through the whole town .... actually across the province :))

May 5 - 43 minute family walk on trail along the ocean
May 6 - 45 minute family walk around Chamberlains Park
May 7 - 50 minute family walk on another part of the T'railway
May 8 - 0 minutes, really poor weather :(

Activities done outdoors for this challenge:

May 1 - Walked to my fitness class and back home again and then mowed the back yard
May 2 - Walked 3 1/4 miles
May 3 - We took our bicycles to Point Pelee
May 4 - several short walks throughout the day
May 5 - the walking group covered 3 3/4 miles in the morning
May 6 - walked to the post office and back this afternoon
May 7 - gardening most of the afternoon
May 8 - walk
May 9 - run/walk 5K
May 10 - walk with daughter and her dogs on the beach
May 11 - walk

May 14 - mowed the back yard

Activities done outdoors for this challenge: This sounds like fun.

May 1 - Walking grandchildren back and forth to school.
May 2 - same and playing with grandchildren in yard.
May 3 - same

May 6 - same
May 7 - 55 minute walk with husband, outside.
May 8 - not much
May 9 - not much
May 10 - walked for over and hour in the woods, very refreshing.
May 11 - long walk in a new neighborhood with beautiful gardens.

Count me in. Sure beats trying to talk myself into getting on the treadmill
I had a hard time finding the group. Didn't remember where I found it so I finally figured out I could just click on the messages in my mail---- emoticon

May 1: walking---to the bank, to the post office, ---parked the at the opposite end of town
May 2: playing with the grandkids - takes some going to keep up. emoticon
May 3: gardening
May 4: rained today- got a bit wet! -- emoticon
May 5: walked out the lane to retrieve the recycling containers-country lane-twice, then washed them...yuk! Took me about 25 minutes. Walked back down to the office -hubby needed his keys-long route out one lane & in the other-another 10 minutes.
May 6: walking - 30 minutes washing my car - 40 minutes
