My kids are grown, so I get lots of "me" time too. When they were younger, I took "my" time in the morning before they got up or in the evening after they went to bed.

We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence then is not an act but a habit. - Aristotle

I like the idea of scheduling 'me' time.

I'm not sure how to get that "me time" in with two young kids at home and moving to a new place where I don't know any babysitters. Well, there's always nap time!

I look at my exercise time as my "me" time. I've quit answering the phone during this time--let the answering machine take it. And I'm headed up to see my new grandson so I will be getting a lot of "me" time. Well, lots of hugs and such from the older 2 and hopefully some cuddle time with the new one.

Schedule "Me" Time for the summer. We have so many obligations in our daily lives that take up most of the space in our busy schedules. But if we don't make the time to do things we love, these obligations will take over and we'll feel we never have the time to do anything for ourselves. That's a great way to get burnt out. Your challenge this week is to open your calendar and schedule a minimum of 2 hours for yourself each week through the beginning of fall.
