Joined 2 challenges for June, and another will finish up in 4 weeks,

Plan to work on exercise schedule, watch calories. Basically trying to see how I do at maintaining, but if I do lose a few more lbs. will be extra happy.

Also working on moving more and getting away from computer.

Francine, sometimes, an 8-lb weight loss doesn't sound like much. With a little effort, you can do it.

June will be a busy month for me. My daughter will be gone for a little over 2 weeks and I will be watching her house and her 2 dogs. That means a lot of exercise!

I also have a few doctor appointments. I need a knee replacement and I am considered a high risk for surgery due to multiple medical conditions. I am hoping that I meet all my requirements by the end of this month so I can get a surgery date. Hopefully in late July or early August.

I need to lose 8 more pounds before surgery, so I really need to buckle down in June!

Among other things, we will celebrate our 55th wedding anniversary, possibly at our son's, before our riverboat cruise. DH is already talking about driving to some places, 'since we'll already be down there.' My goal should be to lose a pound. The last time I said that, my weight held steady. Sure better than going up.

I'll definitely get in some walking.

June is a month of planning and packing for me. At the end of the month we will be traveling to Oregon for 2 months, living in our van. I have to get a system of paying bills from my iPad and seeing to having enough clothes, toiletries, easy foods, meds, etc. It will be much cooler up there than in Arizona so coats too. Plus getting everything done around the house before we close it up for the Arizona heat.

I worry about my SparkPeople recording. It doesn't work as well on my iPad as my iMac. Hope to only use my iPad for the whole month of June and work out the kinks.

I have joined one of the BLC teams for the summer challenge which starts on June 2. This will encourage me to get more movement into my life. I know that exercise does not cause weight loss but a fit body is a more comfortable place to live in.

I will be spending my June exercising my leg more and having my treats, like ice cream, but will make it a treat, not a daily thing.

Also need to work on procrastinating less! I tend to put off everything till I absolutely have to do it!

For June, I am a life time member of WW, and have started to go back to meetings to maintain my weight.

Continue to follow WW food plan where I count pts and it really works for me.

Exercise is walking Scarlett but need to work on strength training using bands.

Every day I am on the verge of making slight changes that would make all the difference in my life.

One day I won't be able to do this, but today is not that day

How will you spend June? If you're not doing well with your weight, then how about making the month of June your best one so far? You can pump up your exercise, be more careful with your food portions, etc.

If interested, come in and share how you plan to spend your days this month, come in an let us know how it's going. We need to be accountable for our days and we also need encouragement to do this.

I hope to see some of you interested enough in keeping this thread going.
