I got in two 10 minute walks around the house since I still have symptoms was not sure about going outside. A little after starting to walk I discovered my muscles are sore like I did a hard core workout and I have been resting the entire month of November, go figure.

I moved some heavy boxes to the back bedroom so the living room looks better.
Some Christmas decorations are up.

I would love to sort these boxes of photos but I'd better start my taxes and also hubby's Medicaid yearly paperwork. Yuk to both! emoticon

Mum, who will be 90 on 23rd December, doesnít sit about for long. Yes she has to take chair breaks but says if she sits around all day she nods off in the chair and stays awake all night

I finally learned the benefits of breaking up exercise throughout the day.
I love exercise but being retired I can do a lot of sitting around after my morning workout - "resting on my laurels" Turns out that "sitting is the new smoking"

I discovered it isn't that hard to get up and do something active for 10 minutes at a time throughout the afternoon. Walking or one of the many 10 minute videos on Spark.
Even without an extended morning workout, those 10 minutes at a time add up.

1960 - 32.5, 25, 34.5
Today - 38, 30, 40.5

The race is not always to the swift, but to those who keep on running.
